a level reading list
As a 6th Form student you will be used to seeing endless wider reading lists for the courses you have chosen to study. We have spent quite a while putting this list together; so it can’t have been simply to make your life harder and make you miss out on a social life. You will instantly be applying a wider knowledge base to your work. This will pave the way for higher grades and future success!
This list is by no means exhaustive; nor do we expect you to read every book here from cover to cover. It's a starting point to help you access academic writing about art, help you with your essay and prompt thinking and enquiry.
Click the book covers to be taken to a pdf version of the book, or a place to buy it online. We also have copies of most of these books in school....
